This workshop will be presented by District 8 Thespians board. The PD day will provide several sessions that will enhance theater education programs. In addition, they will cover an overview of theatre performance opportunities, assessment information, and instructional resources for the upcoming school year. Teachers will have breakout sessions where they will participate in hands on workshops that cover various instructional techniques and best practices to support their theatre curriculum and lessons. Session topics include, lesson planning, assessment, mental health, productions, parent communication, Admin support, collaboration, forms and paperwork, competitions, clubs, fundraisers and professional development opportunities.
